Since winning Australian Idol in 2004 Casey has made her mark not only as a musician, but also in the areas of stage, screen, presenting and writing. Casey is a multi-award winner & nominee, including an ARIA No #1 Award for Listen with Your Heart and Deadly Awards for Best Album, Best Single and Most Promising New Talent.
Casey has spent the last 14 years performing at festivals and Australia’s most coveted venues, her theatrical credits include The Flower Children (Magnormos), As You Like It (Company B), Opera Yarrabah (Opera Australia) The Sapphires (Company B / Black Swan State Theatre Company), Rent (Hayes Theatre) as Joanne and We Will Rock You (Andrew Pole/Ben Elton) as Killer Queen. Casey’s credits have earned her respect from the industry and nominations for multiple Sydney Theatre Awards.
In 2017 Casey was crowned winner of Network Ten’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Soon after her EP Off The Grid and Somewhere In Between was released with the single Lonely in the itunes Top 30; this was followed with a series of live an intimate shows around the country. 2018 saw Casey make her scripted television debut in Network Ten’s Streetsmart in the role of Tia and has now become a stalwart at the Carols By Candlelight and ABC NYE at the Sydney Opera House.
Continuing to lend her name and support to a number of charitable and non-profit organisations in her roles as Ambassador for RU OK, MMAD and Camp Quality and Advocate for the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and as one of the founding members of the New South Wales Indigenous Chamber of Commerce.
